Your data stays yours

AutoNest App (“AutoNest”, “we”, “our”) is a vehicle management tool built for individuals. We designed it around a simple principle: the information you enter about your cars, fuel costs, and expenses belongs to you alone. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how.

Information you enter into the app

All vehicle data you create in AutoNest — cars, fuel logs, expenses, attachments, and notes — is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, synced to your private iCloud account via Apple’s CloudKit framework.

• Vehicle details (make, model, year, license plate, etc.)
• Fuel logs and expense records
• Photos and document attachments you add to records
• Odometer readings and service history

Face ID and biometric lock

If you enable the Face ID lock feature, AutoNest uses Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework to verify your identity before granting access. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessible to us.

Google AdMob (free tier only)

AutoNest displays interstitial ads for users on the free tier, served by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers do not see ads.

Google’s advertising SDK may collect device identifiers and usage signals to serve and measure ads. Before serving personalised ads, the app presents a consent prompt via Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) in compliance with applicable privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).

• You can withdraw or update your ad consent at any time in Settings
• If you decline personalised ads, contextual ads may still be shown
• Google’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy

Subscriptions and payments

AutoNest Premium is available as an in-app purchase managed entirely by Apple. Payment details are processed by Apple and are never seen or stored by us. We use Apple’s StoreKit framework to verify subscription status on-device.

Crash reporting

AutoNest includes a lightweight, on-device crash logger. If the app crashes, a brief technical report is saved locally on your device. This report is only shared with the developer if you choose to contact support and attach it manually. No crash data is transmitted automatically.

Exporting and deleting your data

You have full control over your data at all times:

• Export — use Settings → Export Data to download all your records
• Delete — deleting the app removes all local data from your device. To remove iCloud data, go to your iCloud account settings and delete the AutoNest container
• Access requests — contact us at the address below for any privacy-related requests

Users under 13

AutoNest is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s features change. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
